Lunch

Working friends,

What do you eat for lunch?  Is it healthy, cheap, easy?  I lack creativity when it comes to food, and I need to eat better (and cheaper).

Blog content?  Uhh… save me, Bjork!

Oh, I buy my lunches out all the time, neither cheap nor healthy.  Manhattan lunch is so delicious, though.  It’s hard to resist!

Hey Neil,
I found myself in the same sitch, and have recently started packing sandwiches for Brian and myself in the morning. Nothing earth shattering, but it’s healthier and cheaper than eating out all the time.

Current fave: Turkey, mayo, lettuce on wheat with some fun snack packy thing that you’d have loved in fourth grade.

I’ve consistently been bringing in something to eat for months now.  Before that I used to always just show up and blow 7 dollars almost daily on something that sucked. So I’ve managed to save a good amount of bucks just from that.

Consequently though, lunches have been more non-plus than plus.  Unless it’s some fabulous leftovers from my wife’s latest creation, it’s mostly turkey or chicken salad sandwiches (tuna i’m told is like eating poison). Once in a while I’ll bring in a couple tortillas and grated cheese and make myself a quesadilla, but that’s about as fancy as I get. Good luck!
